Real ID Information

There is a new form of identification you will need to present when traveling domestically. The new identification will require residents to present a Real ID-compliant document to fly in the U.S. and enter certain federal facilities under federal law. You can get a Real ID-compliant driver's license or state ID from the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office.

As of February 1st, 2026, if you don't have a valid REAL ID-compliant ID then you will be charged $45 to verify your ID with the TSA ConfirmID.

What Travelers are Saying!

A lady at the convenience counter before security is the kindest, sweetest woman ever! I had the blessing of chatting with her for nearly an hour prior to my flight. She was so helpful and kind to everyone who stopped by. I would fly again from here just to see her.
